Because we have not had a chance to get to the internet, you will have to ignore the dates posted.....we are power blogging to make up for it!
-10:30am Amanda leaves San Diego.
-2:30pmAmanda arrives in Dallas airport and evacuated from the plane at 4:oopm and is rushed to a men's public restroom due to toronado warning.
-6pm Allison boards plane at DC airport.
-6:15 smoke detector going off on Allison's plane because someone was smoking in the bathroom.
- 5pm Amanda is released from men's bathroom.
-6pm Amanda boards plane for London.
-9:30pm Amanda departs Dallas for London.
-8:00am Allison arrives in Munich.
-11am Allison arrives in Rome!!!!!
-12:45pm Amanda arrives in London, misses connection to Rome flight and takes 1 hour shuttle to London Heathrow airport to catch last flight to Rome.
-6:00pm Amanda arrives in Rome airport.....
-9:30pm Amanda arrives at hotel.
-9:45pm Amanda and Allison take a cab to....
We met some people from another Contiki tour and found our way via taxi to a cute italian pizzaria. Amanda found out the hard way, that when you order a Pizza Marinara, it does not come with cheese, just dough and marinara. We drank great a few bottles of wine, had a great dessert and were in bed by 1am.
